Izumi City is a Japanese city located in the central part of Kagoshima Prefecture on the island of Kyushu. It is a medium-sized city with a population of around 120,000 people and covers an area of approximately 206 square kilometers.
Izumi is known for its agriculture, particularly for growing sweet potatoes, soybeans, and strawberries. In recent years, the city has also become a popular tourist destination for its hot springs and historical landmarks.
